I did research awhile ago on here and hidplanet site.
Scored some excellent fellows had done their LHD projector retrofitting With
- Morimoto FX-Replica 3.0 's
- Oem lexus RX350
- OEM Acura TSX (seems easier than both but still flange off needed)
They all had been done eventually with trimming original bowl for being adapter along with hacking back housing to access inside at leveling shafts with solid epoxy

My question is the stated title ,
And I am looking for easier path and I scored 03-07 Nissan Morano that has similar mounting points when first sight and I really want to make sure if someone getting done your job because again my concern is ease of installation with uncut original projector bowl.

Here are what I am talking about,

Murano Projector (see mounting portions)
I ought to email TRS about its dimensions

I think the reason that this thread hasn't garnered you any answers is that most people couldn't care less that their projector headlights are cutoff for applications where the car is driving on the left side of the road. It's just so much easier to install your headlights and take pictures for your forum friends than it is to spend the extra couple of hundred to do it the right way.

I've read all of those hidplanet threads as well. I've never done my own retrofit, but I've helped my boyfriend with the last two he did for his cars. One of those retrofits was with a Morimoto D2S projector made for quick DIY installs. I wonder why no one has used this model projector. I know it's not as good as an FX-R, but it could greatly simplify the process. I should get my headlights in the mail within a couple of weeks (mailed from Japan which can take a while) and I can take some measurements of housing depth and stuff like that.

I would not say that about all forum-goers. I have personally modified both sets of my reflector HIDs to observe road handedness, and one of the members here is in the middle of a retrofit bracket group buy specifically for these headlights. You can find it here: https://sl-i.net/FORUM/showthread.php?19083

But, I believe that this forum may be in the minority in that respect.

No worries about answering to my topic. The result could be alternated. However, I would have this thread locked because I got my jdm headlights with Morimoto FX-R projectors already. And I would have 2 more USDM headlight sets to show you soon.

Of course nothing is an absolute. But thank you for your consideration of other drivers.

Today I learned that the Nissan Murano uses a blue lightsaber instead of a projector. I kid, that looks amazing!
