the wife and i recently purchased a '96 Legacy L AWD wagon. Nice car. been watching subarus for a few years, and finally found one we liked at a semi-decent price.
Already ditched the OEM tape deck and door front speakers for Alpine. put the headunit under the storage pocket. we both like the car.. if for different reasons. hoping to fit some 17's on it. i like 5zigen. and Enkie.. but my wallet ain't that deep yet.
The Legacy was added to a "fleet" of 3 other vehicles. My two are a 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee lifted, locked and uh... loaded (Laredo SE) and a 1990 Geo Tracker with a 2.5" suspension and 2.25" body lifts.. running only 30" a/t tires. The wife claims her 2004 Tahoe and the Legacy. That makes the Tahoe the only vehicle driving only 2 wheels.
This is our first Subaru... but if this little car keeps on impressing me, it wont be the last. I'd like a bit more power, but it isnt badat all.
looking forward to picking some brains on Legacy tech stuff.
