I thought this was kinda neat.

Subaru had the most popular vehicle in:

Maine (duh)
Washington (yep)
Colorado (makes sense)
Connecticut (what now?)

They also mention that Subaru had the most popular car (Outback) in several states that had higher sales of Truck models.

I am not sure that Foresters are actually the "Most" popular here in Connecticut, but they are quite common. My wife used to think that Subarus were very uncommon, so I started pointing them out as we would drive around. This has now turned into a driving game (since drinking games are not allowed while driving), and we are calling out "subaru!" quite often as we see them.

I am sort of surprised that Vermont is GMC Sierra, and not an Outback.

Connecticut doesn't surprise me.
When I was shopping for my wagon. I went there to check out a particularly clean Legacy and literally every few cars on the road was an Outback or some other Subaru. Usually several at once.
It's Subaru country up there.

Next time I'm in the market for another Legacy, I'll know to go to CT. Good selection.

Oregon was a bit of a shock. It would be interesting to see on over lay of political majority of that state. I.e see if conservative states typically go for particular typea of cars etc.
