So there's a 5mt '93 Legacy sedan for sale where I work for $1K OBO..... Obviously I'm not going to get it, but I can't stop thinking about what I'd like to do with it. I really have a problem. I keep finding ways to justify getting it but ignore the two major points: 1) I have nowhere to put it (because of my six other vehicles), and 2) I would probably end up divorced if I bought it.
Why couldn't I be addicted to something easier to deal with, like cocaine?

Just for myself, I have 02 WRX, 98 RS RBP EJ20K swapped, 95 BK wagon, 00 RS GC STM, 99 OB wagon, and 03 350Z. Not including my wife Lexus and my son's Honda Fit. That's 8 cars for 3 people and 5 for my Subaru addiction.

I know, I'm trying to buy an 85 GTI right now, first step, convince the wife.
If that Leggy was a turbo I would say try to make it work, but it doesn't sound too special.

Are you sure it is even AWD? I have run into a good number of FWD 1st gens around here, including the old 93 wagon that I used to have. That may be enough to make you stop thinking about it ;)

It is AWD, and possibly turbo (that part wasn't clear). But I don't want to check it out for fear that it is an SS.

I have two responses to this:
1) I LOVE the Cappuccino (how old do you think that is?)
2) You forget that my '92 Legacy RS was: a) my first Legacy, b) my first turbo car, c) my first manual trans, d) my first car I did visual mods to, e) the list goes on and on.
It was the car that got me interested in cars.
I don't mind an older car. I just would never want it as a daily or primary car.

Question for you first gen legacy guys, do you guys rock the lame electric seat belts still? Or can you swap in standard belts easily?
