For the last few weeks I haven't been able to get my Subaru to start and I'm running out of ideas...It will turnover and almost start but just doesn't. The plugs keep getting flooded with gas. I've changed my fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, coil pack, wires, and plugs. I can't seem to figure out why the cylinders are being flooded. Any ideas what the problem can be or what i should look into next? Any and all help is appreciated!

You might want to check your compression. Its being flooded because everytime your trying to start it, it injects fuel but nothing there to burn it. Also check and see if your getting spark. Unless its a sensor problem, try to clean the crank and cam sensors (or use a known working one). While your at it, check and see if your timing belt didn't snap.

I know for sure it has spark, as far as compression I'm 99% sure that's fine as well because it was doing this in the past, then i changed the coil pack, plugs, and wires because the old plugs were just way too flooded out and it could use some new wires, then someone told me to change the coil pack as well so i did. Anyways after i changed all of these it started up and ran for about a week or so then went back to the current problem of not starting and plugs being flooded. Basically i changed all the parts previously stated in the original post, with the exception of the fuel pressure regulator which i just changed the other day and that did nothing to help either, and the car ran for about a week before going back to the flooding problem. I was told to check Crank sensor but isn't that mostly for spark? I was also told to check the coolant temp sensor? I have researched a lot lately and found that the EGR valve could be dirty i guess? Could it be something like Air fuel ratio or bad injectors? At this point I'm at a total loss as to what the problem could be, this all exceeds my know how... Not to mention I'm getting tired of replacing all these parts that just don't seem to be doing the trick. I appreciate any help and suggestions!
