Hey whats up people. Been working on this car for a couple of months now will post what i have done, and going to do in a build thread. Joined because there seems to be some good info and seem to have some good people, unlike other forums i have joined(Not all but some). Hopefully i can get some help if i get stuck, and help others if i feel like i can. Not much to say other than big fan of the boxer but no surprise there. I live in Vic in Australia be nice to know if there are other that are here too.

Oh and some of the things i will probably do to this car will not be liked by everybody, i have a habit of trying new things and pushing boundaries (1 For fun (2 See what is possible to look good when people tell me its a bad idea.... Then have them turn around when its finished and sheepishly say actually i like that and might give it a go "How did you do it" and (3 Just to look of peoples reactions is funny to me.

So im always up to hear if you dont like something i have done or going to do or even tell me to try something different, i might like it more and never had thought about it.

And a pic so you see what i'm currently working with

I cant wait to see your Members Ride thread!

As for huge pictures, I suggest using a hosting service like Photobucket. There is a writeup on how to use them here: https://sl-i.net/FORUM/showthread.php?14651-Posting-Images-on-SLi

Cheers rkrenicki, ill look into that straight away as not to upset anybody with it. Also read a couple of your treads while i was waiting to get put threw. Love the XV wheels, dod you have them over 4pots by chance?

Unfortunately, the XV wheels do not have the proper "dish" to the spokes to clear over the 4POTs without a spacer.. it would need at least 12mm and I did not want to put the extra strain on my wheel bearings by pushing the center line out so much. So, I reverted back to the stock Outback brakes until I can source some BP/BL GT brakes.

Well look at that im learning already. But dam that sucks i was going to look at getting some GT brakes but as im still learning about the brake system of what can fit and disk size's. So i was going to look into some 4/2 pots mainly on the reason they are easy find info on, i know what im looking at and not going to buy the wrong ones buy mistake like i might on the net with GT's plus they look good.

If I every move on up to a third gen Leggy-I'll be heading to your neck of the woods for that wagon! And I haven't been there (NSW) since 1972!
