so I have an extra outback I cant sell, so I'm cutting the roof off and making a convertible! :smt039 the only other option for this is I will use it for the grassroots motorsports $2016 challenge, I payed $500 for it originally so it would have a lot of room for mods and if any fellow subaru forum guys want to partner up it would be super fun. otherwise like I said I'm cutting the roof off and making an offroad convertible.

Do you have plans for reinforcing the frame? I imagine it'll be pretty wobbly without the roof.

nope, I will be using the car as a golf cart/ 4wheeler, no roads at all, it doesnt need to be safe or solid.

I vote GRM, because that sounds fun, while the other sounds ridiculously hillbilly.

This reminds me of Top Gear's attempt at making a convertible minivan.
As usual, much hilarity ensued.
