Please welcome "Mayaar" to our forum.

Let start my build with some actual information so far

* Engine & Clutch
High Compression Natural Aspiration
- Stock EJ253 short block came from
02 Foster MT (Apx.150K)
- Stock rebuilt EJ25D Heads came from
96 Legacy
- 05-07 STi Turbo head gasket
- EJ205 / DOHC Turbo Timing belt kit
- EJ25D oem WaterPump
- Stage 1 Exedy clutch kit

Transmission
- Stock 4.111 trans & LSD rear diff
- Short Throw Shifter Kartboy KB-001
- Polyurethane rear shifter bushing
- OEM new shift joint with new bushes
- New shifter's spring

Suspension
- 05 WRX wagon stock struts
- Pro Drive wagon Blue Springs
- Cusco Front strut tower brace
- BG's RSB with polyurethane bushes

Brake
- H6 brake swapped ( nothing fancier than rust)

*Exterior
- Stock GT 97 black color
- JDM Grill with RFRB badge

Lighting
- JDM Projector headlights with amber deleted
- FX-R 3.0 HID projector retrofitted
- Mitsubishi Ballast
- XB35 5000k
- GT fog lights housing with Lexus's projector fog along with VW Passart 's clear lens retrofitted
- JDM fender markers with led retrofitted for turn signal)
- Full LEDs bulbs swapped in - out side

*Interior
- 03 WRX front-rear seats swapped
- 99 GT limited black leather door insert cards
- WRX manual shift knob
- eBay shift boot with red stitching
- 04 WRX Red badge MoMo steering wheel
- 98 Legacy Clock Spring swapped
- JVC Arsenal Bluetooth head unit
- Under seated Sub woofer box
- Kicker 6.5 2-ways coaxial four corners

I spent 2 hr.on her before work this morning
-properly rewired headlights socket H4 to 9007 , thanks to Hinyo
-pulled front bumper and extra fog lights
-pulled driver side fender
I scored that Mayaar can be remotep starting up

That guy is parting out a black 99 GT near Pittsburgh. The driver's side fender looks pretty good.

Edit- the bumper cover looks OK too.

05/16 Updating
I just spent 30 minutes to heat up under the dent portion on front bumper and use my foot pushed the dent to ordinary.
Its turnout pretty nice , so far so good!!
Some seriously dent around sharp curbs are not come out but they do not bother and peeled my eyes off.

Update progress,

I am going to bring her to bodyshop to get cost estimation of front end straightening tomorrow because she has front frame bend about 1" pulled to the passenger side.

However, If anyone has a couple trees in your own back yard , please let me know . I would do a ghetto work there.

Do yourself a favor and cut out that rear fender rust. You can always weld a patch on temporarily, but that rust will spread and render the rear quarter panels useless, as well as the rear bumper support.

JDM HID projector headlights switched from Tulip to Mayaar in the morning.
Im going to install fog lights deleters on GT bumper because I got another set already. Haha

I have bought Gates kit for EJ22E in awhile back
As long as this engine is mated by DOHC heads & SOHC blocks . So, the kit should come along with DOHC head, right?
