I recently purchased a 2015 Legacy Premium 2.5i, and I was looking at some of the available options, and one brochure I looked at said the Side Mirrors with the Integrated Turn Signal were an option.

I have seen these standard on the Limited, and I think I have seen some on Premiums as well, but my dealer wasn't able to tell me if I can have these installed.
Does anyone know if the wiring may already exist for these in all trim models?

Of course, has anyone bought these parts and installed them on their Premium? I'm waning to do this, but don't want to spend the money or time to find that the wiring isn't there. Thanks everyone!

If Subaru is still making them the way they used to, yes, likely the wiring is already there.

It should be easy for you (or the dealer for that matter - they should want to make a sale to you) to tell as the mirrors are on the doors. Just pop open the inside door trim and see if there's a harness plug unused right by the mirror.

Short of that, my experience with OE accessories is that they come with everything you need (aside from tools). So have them pop open a box for the kit and see how much wiring harness is included.

Not a bad idea... I was going to try not to take the doors apart if I could avoid it, but in this case it might be warranted. I know it was easy on my 2nd gen for the door tweeters with the wiring right there. Thanks for the input!

Did you ever get a resolution on this?

Unfortunately no... between my work and family schedules, I haven't had time to do any more investigating. I've done a lot of looking on as many forums as I could find, and nothing at all. I think one of these days I'm just going to bite the bullet and pull the assembly apart myself and see what's in there... and should hopefully get some sort of answer!
