Yesterday I went with Rubie_25GT, kcowles, SelfishBlue (who got us tickets from work), and some other friends to the Redbull Global Rally Cross event in Washington DC. We all got a few free shirts and stickers and whatnot. It was disappointing that Subaru Rally Team USA pulled out of this event after a 2 month break in the schedule. We were able to walk the paddock. All the teams were awesome and you could watch them work on the cars from a few feet away and even talk to them. I found a broken skid plate from Jeff Ward's Fiesta. After racing was done for the day he was nice enough to sign it for me.

Rubie got a broken rear toe link from a car and two of other friends got body parts from damaged cars and got them signed. Mr Blue made a new friend who is one of the GRC Lights drivers (look up Collete Davis). All in all, it was a really good time even though it was pretty hot out there. I will definitely go again next year.
VW Andretti Rally Sport had a free waffle bar at the team paddock. We also got to see Tanner Foust interacting with the fans. He was really nice and took extra time to sign stuff and take pictures with the kids between races.
