Exactly...the trebeca has got to the Ugliest $^%#$%^$# car on the road! Subaru should come out with an economy car instead...something like the Justy.[/i]

Looks like the new B9 front end, kinda sorta.... there will be BIG rebates on those!

..if anyone buys the B9. Fugly.
..and the Justy is NOT a real soob, guys. It's a ford. It has an inline 4, 4lug wheels, and it's shaped like the fiesta. Go figure.
It IS, however, the most fuel efficient 4wd car on the road, I'll give it that.

Disaster!! They were starting to get it right again with last years shape after the bugeye mistake. But I would take the bugeye over this new shape

Other than the Tribecca inspired centre grill section, I very much like the design of the new Impreza. If it were not for that slight blunder i would say that the overal design is smooth, well integrated and rather pleasing to the eye.
Unfortunately its not. That centre section makes the front view look rather ugly. If I were in the market for a new WRX, I would seriously make a visit to my local SAAB dealership and look over those cute little 9-2Xs. :)

It's a Suzuki Swift:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subaru_Justy
In Europe, Suzuki Motors built the Justy for Subaru at its Hungarian plant. It was merely a rebadged Suzuki Swift. In 2004, the Justy name continued in European markets on a rebadged Suzuki Ignis.
Umm. I dunno what they did in Europe, but here in the US it was sold as a Subaru. While the engine may well have been Suzuki sourced, it is my belief that the car itself was indeed a SUBARU. I do not beleive that the first generation Justy's body shell was related to the Suzuki swift.
My sister had an early ('87 or '88 ?) model that was a total blast to drive, and featured a part-time 4WD setup so that snow wasnt that big of an issue. Unfortunately she (my sister) never really understood manual transmissions, and refused to learn how to rev-match her gear changes or to double-clutch and beat her Justy straight into the ground before trading it in on a Saturn.

I'd knee-cap the blokes that hired the exterior designer from Alfa if I had the oppertunity.

And I like the GC style of impreza most, but the bugeye is right behind it IMO. They've gotten worse through the years...now it's just bad...

I agree. WRB bugeyes are some of my favorite sedans. The only reason I like the new (04) headlight setup is that you can get 4300k HIDs that don't look as garish as the retrofitted bugeye ones do, and the HID light is almost equivalent to that of regular daylight, as opposed to the usual 5-6000k purple bullshit.

I hate the new design, although it turned out better then some of the concept drawings I saw floating around. You know what really sucks though? I bet sales increase for SOA with this new design. I've laready been hearing it's a hit with the DSM and Honda crowd!

Just because one owns a Honda doesn't mean they are a ricer. I know the concept of style and function. I've seen Hondas done up nice better than a few riced out Legacy's on cardomain. Tis tis people that is stereotyping.

Thanks you, Danielson, for defending my Honda honor :gong: :chinaman bow:
One of my cars is a 99' accord, and I love it. I am discraced by ricers who diminish the respect I have built for it  Mark has heard the stories haha.

I always liked the bugeye, it reminds me of the older 911, my fave car eVaR. Also, the eyes frame the hoodscoop when youre behind the wheel. The 04 just looks like a scoop stuck on the hood.
I've never really understood the appeal to the hot accord. Sure, they've got a wonderful suspension (or they used to  ) but it seems like too much soft car to really make for an exciting ride. Am i missing something? I'm not mocking, im curious.

I think my appeal to the Accord, is the out of the box ballsyness acceleration, even with a 2.4L 4 cyl....my friend had an old 91 with a V6 and a 5MT (!!) and that thing was great! Suspension....not a Prelude, but still nicer than the civics.
Yes, I've heard the stories sheepdog has told, I like the one where he got beat down by a police line

I will agree with that, sleepers are awesome, but its always a plus to have the great looks too.
Scotty- I'm right with you, the old 911 Turbos were my all time favorite too :D
