I've got a 98 GT Wagon, 5-speed with about 95K miles.

Headgaskets, timing, new seals, new clutch and a bunch of other stuff (not plugs though) were done a couple of months ago by a friend of mine who is a Subaru tech.

Last week (Wednesday I think) I started my car up it was cold enough that there was frost on the windshield so I went out to scrape it while the car warmed up, when I got back in the car I had a CEL for a cylinder 4 misfire.

I cleared the code and it was fine until this morning. Again, cold morning though not cold enough for frost and the cell popped before I even got out of my drive way, again cyl 4 misfire. I cleared the code and drove to work (about 30 minute drive) without any issues.

Obviously I'm going to put new plugs in, but is there anything else I should be checking/replacing?

Plug wires come to mind - we had failing plug wires that were causing bad misfires when the engine was cold.
