00 LGT, loud ticking noise

Just picked up this car as a replacement daily, and 2 days after I bought it, it starts making this sound. It never goes away, but gets slightly quieter when hot.

Oil is full, 5w40 Rotella T6

Thought it might be the timing tensioner, but it is not.

Ideas?
