My passenger side brake light is dimmer than the driver side which is no problem when I'm driving, but when I need the headlights on, it cuts out entirely when I brake. I've replaced the bulb, which itself was fine. My other problem is the trunk light cuts out when opening but if I shimmy the lid up and down it comes back on. I've checked the section between the lift gate and the car for frayed wires and also along the whole lift gate. Nothing wrong. Where do I look next/ what do I do? I've also read that this puts the ecu into limp mode, I've been noticing reduced performance, if this helps anyone.
