Who has the highest odometer reading with pictures, please also put what year and model so we can compare.

Probably not the highest mileage on a Legacy, but it's a good start! It's a 1997 Legacy L Wagon.

Are we just looking for high numbers, or actual distance, since kms are shorter than miles. My wife's '04 Forester has over 215,000 miles (18K mi/yr avg), but I know there are folks with higher mileage averages out there. My '02 S401 probably has the lowest distance/year. It only has something like 40,000 kms (less than 2K mi/yr avg)

had a 97' legacy outback 5spd with over 400,000 then 2nd gear broke on the trans, I sold it to grayguy years ago, I wonder if its still going? my outblack has over 360,000 and its still going.

I was talking to the wife of the shop owner (he only works on Subarus) who does some of the work on my cars. I was bragging about the 215k on my '96 Outback when she told me that they have at least 3 customer cars (2.2s of course) with over 500k miles. No proof or pictures but....
