View Full Version : BG STi pinks on USDM struts
Will JDM bilstein spec lowering springs such as STi Pinks fit on regular USDM struts, and more importantly, will they affect the handling negatively from a daily driven, not raced standpoint? I'm looking for a bit of a drop without the extremes of coilovers.

Muse, I have run a few different suspension combos using various OEM struts and springs and so far I have found that everything from 2nd gen Legacy mates up with GC and GD chassis suspension. I currently have GC KYB AGX struts with 05 STi springs with 05 WRX wagon strut mounts with 1/4" saggy butt spacers in the rear to level it out, so as long as the springs fit the mounts you should be in good shape.
If the springs are the same diameter as the ones they are replacing they should fit the mounts without any issue, I think you can toss them on no problem. And if the rates are the same as the USDM STi (224 F/ 195 R) they will be a nice firm ride that give you a slightly more aggressive stance without sacrifice to ride quality. Hope this helps
