Yes, I know, yet another ridiculous request.
Does anyone know if it is possible to put a CB antenna into the roof rails on a BH without totally screwing reception and transmission? I know its a long shot but I want to run a CB stealth system.
Thanks guys, you're all so great!

I suspect you'd have some real signal attenuation and SWR problems running an antenna parallel to a metal roof not to mention inside a roof rail.

Okay. Fair enough. Any other suggestions on a stealth cb setup?

Say what you will. My old CB saved me from many potential tickets and traffic jams.

You are absolutely right. my dad is in his 70's and still uses his when he and mom drive back in forth from Pennsylvania to Florida every winter. The truck drivers are a little brutal from down south trying to understand them but pop's knows where all the cops are hiding before the radar detector picks them up.

Stealth and CB or any other radio bands don't exactly go together. You need a higher antenna to reach longer, be able to get above obstacles around you, like the mountains, trees, other vehicles. Things that will otherwise impede the path of the signal. The most stealthy would be a antenna on a magnet honestly.
In car stealth would be a bit easier, that being hiding the actual cb.
