I got stuck with my Honda Element since I couldn't find a decent Subaru for the money and I was sick of not having a car. But the whole time all I wanted was a Subaru wagon, Here's what I actually wanted when I ended up with that car ;) My plan was to buy a GT Wagon, FXT or OBXT This year but since I ended up buying my 99 LGT Project car that i'm in the works of turboing I decided this 2.5i was the most grown up choice when I saw it on eBay and since I plan on Keeping this for a while and going with me into my journey of adulthood LOL :D

It's a 2006 Legacy SE 2.5i Wagon (BP) It's currently got 103k on the clock, One owner, Full-service history on the Carfax including timing belt at 75k, No wrecks, and a California car it's whole life, Even though it's an automatic I have the 99LGT For hoon time so A/T Is alright, It's even better being White (SWP) and having a sunroof.
It was a Total win after seeing the carfax, made an offer and set it all up. the car should arrive this week (first week of May 2016) at that time I'll update my Thread with better pics.

The '06s had more hp/tq, bigger brakes, clear/chrome headlights, and the 17" LGT rims

And disable seat belt chime. still wear your belt, u just don't have to listen to the LOUD beeps

I cannot wait to get a picture of them both side by side, I know everything I saw was 05 and I didn't like the 05 2.5i Wheels at all... this was perfect when I found it. For some reason I thought it was the 07's with more HP, Regardless I didn't know for sure the bigger brakes we're on here, I saw the brakes filled up the wheels like a LGT so That's awesome then SCORE! My only settlement to myself was if i'm getting an auto N/A it needs a sunroof that was my only requirement. so SE = Awesome, I haven't read up on all the SE Add's but that's the most important thing to me, I can add Fog lights later on :)
I already planned on the Cabin Air right off the bat, Most people ignore it and I have allergies so it helps.
I'm an avid believer in wearing seat belts, I'm doing the same thing on my 99. I don't need it telling me to put it on, I'll read up on how to do it ;)

Trust me I've had my thoughts of putting them on, But I'm leaving them on the 99 I think. Maybe i'll throw them on for giggles. but the BBS's are flowing well with everything i'm doing to it now ;)

Now if I come across some Spec B Wheels cheap hmmm.. ;D

Quick question! Do the gauges do the sweep like the LGT/OBXT and 3.0R?

Nevermind you we're right it has the 175HP engine ;D Sweet! I didn't know the driver's seat was powered, Kind of a bummer it's powered but not heated but oh well :D

I'm sure about the fog lights because that's one thing I always use on my car and upsetted me a little bit and was already looking into adding them. Good Hids/Retrofit and fog lights are a requirement for me personally after having both in my last car.

I'm going to for sure try them out for sure, I want to paint the Brake Calipers on the 06 since they'll be California rust free so i'll swap throw em on then.

Just did a Full Synthetic oil change and Changed my rear diff oil.

Also Got some JDM, Heated and power folding mirrors with Turn signals on the way from a 2.0GT. It'll be a while before I see them though.

Mobli-1 5W-30 Full Synthetic. Walmart special :D Then I got a 5 pack of OEM Filters for both the cars off eBay. I'll Probably End up keeping the rest of the filters for this car though and start running Mazda RX-8 Filters once I feel the engine on that car is cleaned out good. (Plan on doing a few oil changes in the next few months to clear out any shipping grit there possible could possibly be) What are you running?

I deff will, Look up Universal Smart Vehicle Side Mirror Auto Folding/Unfolding Controller Module on eBay. That's what I plan on using for the folding part. as for the rest well the signals will be fairly easy after I route wires to the sources or just run them are running lights? Not sure yet. the heating part looks to be the biggest challenge by a long shot. i manged to get the JDM Door hanress's so I should have all the plugs and wire I need. if it's too hard i'll leave that stuff unplugged till I do something crazy with this car in a few years lol :D

Currently in the 3.0R is Castrol Magnatec, but it looks like that was discontinued. I will likely start running either Castrol Edge or Pennzoil Platinum. I use OEM filters.

I think the Universal Smart Vehicle Side Mirror Auto Folding/Unfolding Controller Module Will slove this for me, maybe you should read up on it. It could help you out

Okay well I decided to swap the old Legacy grille back today, Might Plasti dip this week, Baked and removed the amber marker in my OEM Lights today and polished them.

I have JDM Tails and Rear fog in the mail, Might pick up a 05 Outback fog light stalk and relay this week so I can get fogs installed soon.

Started on Cutting up my spare dash vent for my Nexus Car PC Project.

Also unsoldered the plug off the spare control head so I can put the MPG screen in the glove box with my extender cable

:Update! Pulled off my wheel to hopefully try to locate my whine in the rear end at highway speeds/Around corners. Assuming rear wheel bearing just don't have any way of ID'ing the failing one :( And found bushings starting to crack and leaking rear struts.. checked the front out and I need Front LCA Bushings and Sway bar bushings up there. There was a clunk going over bumps so i'm not shocked by my findings.

So far I've ordered Whiteline W0506 Front Inner Bushings, Plan to buy the rest of the bushings in white line as well. Any recommendations for other stuff to check or replace let me know.
Currently deciding If I want to go with a Basic KYB Strut, a Better Bilstein or Koni Strut or Go with Basic coil overs. I'd love to lower it a Little but it's not needed. Still, need to figure out my priorities

Thanks! :) Sadly I'll be doing more stuff to this soon just because of wear and if something wears out I may as well make it better :P I might pick up rain guards like you have this year too.

I haven't loaded a bunch of miles on it since it's not fully complete and my friends work lives and weather haven't fully worked well with me...But it's crazy fun and I've not even driven any twistys yet.

Small update. I have MH1 6.0 Projectors and 35W ballasts with 4300K Bulbs from my old Honda element. So I ordered Brackets from Custom Brackets and designs to retrofit. Need to order the HD Relay harness and figure out what Headlight spillters I need to order. Should be much better driving at night. That's one of the few things I miss from my old Honda was the lighting setup.

Update: I replaced the 3.0R Wood Momo in Favor of a Black Momo from the LGT The seats came from, I also Installed a a Fog Light Stalk So I need to locate a relay, Foglight's and Covers.
My Plan was to Get a Double Din radio Soon but a Friend of mine gave me an old single din Radio that's well featured so I'm planning on buying a Double din faceplate and just installing a din pocket for the time being so I don't have to burn MixCD's like it's the Early 00's :P
Two New Rear Wheel bearings are in the mail, also have Word that LSWAN's Container arrived so that means I'll have Power folding mirrors and engine covers. in the next week some changes should be happening :)

So the Pick n Pull Yard near me just had picked up a 2010 Impreza 2.5i Premium so I went a took a Look and It had a Mint Wheel with SWC (like my 08LGT Wheel) But in almost brand new shape but the airbag was blown... So I went and picked that up and made sure it bolted up to my 05-07 Steering column. After that I Combined my 2008 LGT Rear Wheel cover with Buttons to my 2010 2.5i Wheel. Only Part I'm missing is the 08-09 Legacy or 08-14? Impreza airbag Cover.

Got my Bushings and Steering Knuckle/U-Joint installed today. Wasn't too bad of a job, Would recommed lifting the car on stand instead of ramps Like I did. You need the rack to move a little bit. Ended up having my Mom just move the Steering wheel ever so slightly to get the bolt holes to line up after that it was smooth sailing. I haven't taken it on a good drive but just down the street and in the driveway I can already feel the steering is nice and more Responsive/More feedback. I love it.

My Front Sway bar Bushings don't look to good and my End-links feel looser then they should be, I'll be doing the Tribeca FSB Soon. Moog or Fancy Solid Frontend links?

Another Update! Tonight I Installed a 05-07 2.5GT 5EAT Sport Shift steering wheel and it plugs right in, and just works like it should. Awesome on Subaru to use the same Clock Spring and wiring setup on 2.5i's vs 2.5GT's

Small Update!
I have Aquirred 05-09 Legacy GT Front Calipers, Brackets, and Very low miles Front Pads for Cheap. Also picked up Rear EBC Yellow Pads for my 2.5i Brakes for a price I couldn't refuse. Later on I'll upgrade to the Vented 2.5GT Rear Setup but for now, this should be a solid improvement over my stock setup.

Also Got the Replacement Marker light for my JDM Mirrors and the LHD Mirror faces. So I'll be tackling that hopefully before winter

I need to Order Some Blank Rotors soon and paint for the Front Brakes. I'm considering doing Stoptech SS Lines up front while I'm at it.

I'll be installing my Billstein's once my Saggy butt spacers arrive. After that, I plan to get some Sway bars and possibly Endlinks.

I'm actually leaning towards the Centric ones, Priced fairly and appear to be good rotors. Hopefully the Hub part is coated/Painted like they appear in some Photos

Thank you :) Not a whole lot of people get it, on LGT My Thread has a 3 star rating... Been made fun of doing all of this to a Non Turbo wagon. I don't care, but it's funny a guy with a AP and Rally armors will get more people talking then my wagon :p

Super cheap, I hope I can find the Upper arms and Rear Diff Brace/Mount in Spec B Alloy as well. Normally I use Buyee, Jesse Streeter did the bidding and with all fees and shipping I should have under $200 shipped for these. I'll keep you posted, I won't know the exact amount till he get's these at his place but I think I did a fairly decent job getting him numbers to work off of.

Well, I guess if I would be in the US I'd skip the N/A subies and stick a nice LGT, but that doesn't mean you can blame someone doing tons of cool stuff on a non-turbo car.
On the European mainland we only have N/A Legacies and Outbacks so there's quite a few people choosing those as a base to work on. On the Dutch Subaru forum there are 2 guys who have done some very tasteful mods to 2.0R cars (165bhp N/A engine, you guys don't have that engine I think). One guy did some engine mods and got the thing up to 185bhp, which is nice.

Thanks! Actually not quite, When I picked up my 08-09 Dash conversion I already picked up the Radio from the 08 Parts car so It plugs in the same so the radio and CD Player still worked but just didn't have the wiring for the AUX plug and sadly Subaru made the AUX Jack apart of the body loom so it's not plug n play. :( I do need to go back in and add a few wires. I found out I'm prewired for the rear Subwoofer so I want to be able to use that in the future

Wow, almost a year since I updated this. have sourced all the rear cargo area pieces earlier in the year, and found the black cargo mat (not great, but will work till I find better).

Earlier in the year the passenger rear wheel bearing started making a fuss (just replaced this ugh..) and a rear squeak over bumps (spring? Shock?) sorta of forget about these as most of the year I'm using the 99 LGT as a runabout since it's funner and short little 20-35mph trips you normally don't hear the Wheel bearing going to town. I'll be tending to that pretty soon even though its cold :(

after all this time I finally found the piece I've been needing, Black leather back seat that wasn't insanely pricey. It's still dirty going to take several cleanings as it sat in this guys barn for a bit but doesn't smell or have any major wear. and it was only $50 since I jew'd him down from $300.

Just bought a Full Navi dropout kit from a 2008 Spec-B from Pmp On Facebook for $150 Shipped, I know aftermarket head unit would be better but always loved the Factory GPS look and dig the sub menu's/features!

Also bought a super nice 08-09 Leather wheel, and airbag cover to sell! Debating on getting paddles and Steering wheel audio control panel and retrofitting all of that in, but not 100% yet though but would be cake topper with the rest of my Facelift dash

First started off with a Facelift JDM mirror swap, these popped up already 37J SWP White and had to snag. Facelift JDM mirrors with the signals, Heated elements, Power-folding and being Non-Base model they also have bigger mirror glass!
2.5i have the turn signals prewired to the door harness, so I grabbed up some OBXT/GT Door harness's and then added two wires for the power-folding part and added my plugs in for the HK sound system I retrofitted in the past.

Needed new rear brakes, Went for some Centric Rotors (coated hats that won't look like poop in 3 months.) and EBC Yellow pads I snagged super cheap off a dude that ordered the wrong pads for his 2.5GT.

EBC Yellows feel amazing but do have a little brake noise coming to a stop (I like it, but some might not) , and the Convex JDM glass on the LHD side is awesome.

Speaking of paint code things.. Decided to mount up these Spats I've had forever. these are JDM 36J as you can tell, Not going to use all the double-sided tape since they will be getting pulled off at some point to be matched.

No, but it's really tempting me. I know from what I've heard it's not a plug n play swap. you have to swap dash beams IIRC. I actually have a column just would need the dash beam and swap my lock cylinder jazz over

late reply! they will, it's only 3 wires to make it work I just haven't been bothered being focused on my other legacy. I will make making it work soon and other things update below

Picked up some Carbon eyelids, I need to reclear them and fix the lights with a clear coat too so they stop getting UV damaged (thanks Mysubie from the lids)

Getting the itch to NA-T this, between me and my friends we've got a lot of the pieces to make it happen

planning to install my old Light blue 440cc injectors from my 205 on the 253 and tune for 93 or E85 with my stock NA 253 has a decent compression ratio so might pickup some power for no real-world cost out of pocket and go from there

I would be interested! that's a piece I've always loved.

I like the N/A Nature too, sorta why I'm planning to do a fuel upgrade first and see where I sit. if Fuel/Tune does well might be worth considering Delta cams and an exhaust (i'll do it anyways).

ended up getting a XAV-ax210 sony radio (second hand) that does car play and android auto. it's fantastic. just hooked up the USB port and microphone so all that is working. I need to find a deal on the adapter box to add SWC to my steering wheel

I had nameless deletes on the car for a min I got for free, hated them with a passion. so sold them and found these JDM Corazon Mufflers on facebook and in this very little money. very good sound without being too loud. the only downside is for a sedan. so I will def need to get a JDM Rear bumper someday to fill the gap

learned they made a Defi din gauge with Coolant, oil temp and oil pressure and I had to have one. I always wanted the STI gauge pod but having the boost gauge didnt work for me and seemed stupid to only be able to use 2/3's of what i'd be buying. got one off YAJ and then found the subaru single din kit
