Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum, but certainly not to the Subaru world.
It's sad to say, but recently my 97RS has gone to the great scrap yard in the sky.
Through a series of fortuitous events, and some more than gracious people I have come into a 96 legacy outback. With only 161k and being in fantastic condition for its age, I think it's safe to say that I am very fortunate.
Now the negative...the previous owners spend a decent amount of money on a 100k tune up. However, shortly after, as is prone to happen on a 2.5, the head gasket blew. My friend and I will be pulling the engine and fixing the issue.
I have some modest plans this subaru:
02 WRX struts and springs
UEL headers
Axle back straight pipe
Weapon R intake
Wheels and tires
That is it as of now, I would like to find a GT hood that matches the color of the car.
If any of you legacy gurus have mods that you might suggest please post them up.
