From the description I almost thought it was legal...You can't have the steering wheel on the right side and drive legally can you? I could be wrong...
That is pretty sweet. Ma, you poke around on eBay a lot don't you?

you can but you have to fill out a lot of paper work and jump through a lot of hoops to "legalize" a JDM/EDM RHD vehicle. I've seen a lot of other RHD cars, one of my old roomates had a RHD 95 Legacy L that he bought from his neighbor who was a mailman. I'll have to look into it...!

mark - i don't think it matters what side of the car the steering wheel is on...if you really want to know what all is involved in legalizing an imported vehicle check out this site

Most cops are dumb so I would get that car, get a RHD postal legacy and do a little VIN swapping and part the RHD legacy out. Suck a fatty uncle sam!

lol.... Mark I'm a stay home dad and seller on ebay. On my free time then, I always look for legacy goodies for our members in here, just trying to help some of you who don't get a chance to do what I do :D .

I have been talking with the owner of the B4. He is cool as shit! He is out of the country right now but still finds time to e-mail me. He says he brought the toy over as a toy and to drive at the track. He could care less weither he sells it or not. He says he smokes Evo 8's all day long.

Must be nice. He said if I was there I could take it for a spin. One hell of a guy if you ask me.

Is that alot of money for a B4 in your country ?? apart from the RHD problem would it be worth it ?

Actually, for what the car can do, that's a really good price.
The 2005 legacies (new) with the 2.5 litre turbo and 250 hp start around 28,000 bucks. 15,000 is nothing for a car like that.
Dreaming a little there Pete?

No Mark not dreaming :D It is the same as mine but I dont have the 180kph speed cut and have all the handiling bits that can be fitted :D

They are sick fast and when the second turbo spools up look out coz it gets scary !!!

The price is about the same as here, I think. you can pick up a 2001 nz car for between 15and 20k NZ $ and a JDM one for slightly less but the JDM cars normaly have lots of mods allready and they are starting to flood the market. still would like to see some STIs come in with the six speed and all

It might just be me, but I think that whole ebay B4 deal is slightly shady.

I don't know why he took the tail lites and the projection headlites out. Kind of ruins the JDM ness.

Someone here should just get a loan and buy the damn thing, and bring it to the NE Meet
