hello this is my 98 legacy L, 2.2 5 speed. got it for $600 wrecked.
im trying to build it as cheaply as possible, im saving to get another car and its just fun to see how far i can stretch a dollar.so far i only have $3000 in it .

then had a bad hail storm so i threw on a $200 paint job to hide it.

coilovers , outback sways and audi a4 endlinks.

then i found a gt but the only thing i could get was the bumper so i snagged some BMW 740il sideskirts and found some wheels and tires for $350 and shaved the roof rack. i also have a wing from a kia sedona mini van i cut 10" out of.

got the bumper and skirts painted.

started to clear it , also found out a stock 2nd gen mr2 strut tower bar will fit.i had to bent it slightly to get the angles the same.

got some flares, 1 inch wheel spacers and i made a splitter for it

got my cheap big brake upgrade done .04 forester xt front brakes. went from a 10 inch rotor to almost a 12 inch, and dual piston calipers. with the powerstop pads and rotors and junk yard calipers ive only got $120 in it.
also found a kart boy shifter in a wrx that had a interior fire, just happened to look in and see the shifter sitting in a puddle of plastic. i had to cut some off the pivot point to fit but its a huge improvement.

and as it sits now, made the front splitter smaller and just finished my wannabe GT-B bumper using outback lights and modified brackets. i still have a outback rear bumper to put on it aswell.

thanks, ya i dont know why our cars didnt get them. the newer a car is usually the get more engine plastics not less.

most likely im going to raise it a little so i don't have to run camber just to fit the wheels. i like it this low but i want to be able use all the suspension mods im doing. besides that just more handling mods. eventually im going to get a 95 wagon so i can do a SVX motor swap (i have emissions checks for 96+ here.) and i will transfer all the good stuff over.

the blue and flat clear are rustoleum rattle cans,2085 specifically the 2x wildflower blue . i got it from home depot because it the only place i know that you can buy cases of spray paint easily.
