While we were finishing up our wrx swapped outback, foohfooh hit me up and let me know he had a green outback he was looking to get rid of. Picked it up and few weeks later with the plan to make a daily so i can stop driving my c3500. Car sat for awhile and when the motor in the swapped wagon let go, we decided to get this one running to atleast have 2 cars again.

Day I brought it home. I was told it had a blown head gasket so I drove home with the heater cranked but the window switches werent connected so the windows were also up the whole way. I had to drive down some roads with the door open it was so hot inside :laughing5:

A little bit later once the swapped wagon was running

So finally i was able to get started. basic head gasket change and new seals/gaskets throughout. Motor was filthy so i took some time cleaning.

Finally got the motor together and in the car. Swapped over our coilovers, wheels and limited interior from other wagon since it wont be running for awhile. Car runs great, currently in the middle of doing front wheel bearings. Only plan now is for some smaller tires and to go alittle(or alot) lower and a good cleaning in and out.

Small update. The Enkeis needed tires and the car needed new brakes. Stepped down to a 225 tire since this car doesnt need anything crazy. Car needs to be lowered to compensate for the smaller tire but i ran out of time. For the brakes, i really didnt want to spend more money after the hg,wheel bearings and other small things to get the car driveable. Since our swapped wagon wasn't going anywhere and i did the brakes 2 months before the motor let go, I decided to just transfer the brakes over. So now our daily has a full nissan 4/2 pot setup :toothy10:

Can I ask why your car has two valve stems sticking out of the wheels?

I've always been told its so that you can measure your tire pressure while filling. Its supposed to give a more accurate reading for when small changes in pressure are really important. Could be true, could just be marketing :dontknow:

Hmm, I guess that makes sense... in some manner. I thought for a second I was looking at a photoshopped pic haha!

So ended up buying my girl a Tiguan this past weekend..which means the wagon finally became my daily and I could stop driving my truck everyday  So got to work right away and lowered it an inch  as well as replaced some bushings and ball joints. Got some small plans but im pretty happy with it now. Trying to decided if I want to swap this one too or leaving it alone and pick up something else to play with.
