My gf really wanted a quicksilver GT or Sandstone L wagon for a bit and been looking, after many dead ends and time wasted this 97 popped up on the 2nd gen legacy page I'm an admin to on FB and Had to pick it up, drove up to Seattle to get it

180K, pretty clean. little gap in hood/body from the rad not being put into grommets correctly, AC not working and 4EAT is shifting a little harder than it should otherwise it's a good place to start.

Plan is EJ205 swap, JDM stuff in time. but for now, it's getting a manual swap

Snagged a 99 OB limited 5MT body harness to swap this to 5MT, we will get the rest of the swap on a upcoming half off day. also grabbed the limited wiper arm, honda pilot rear wiper and the seat belts for our 98

That's sick! Post a sound clip when you get that puppy in, I'd love to hear it!
Also, In my experience you dont need to swap the whole wiring harness. i just swapped the sensor from the 3 wire speedometer that came on the 99 5mt with the 2 wire speedometer that was on my 95 4EAT and spliced in the speedo, reverse and clutch switch to tell the ECU it was in nuetral when i pushed the clutch in and it worked fine. granted that was 9 years ago so i maybe forgetting something.

Was thinking of doing that, but me and my gf are big fans of the 99+ key fobs and security also planning to do a bfm cluster that's easier to do 3 wire and also will give us heated seat, mirror, wiper options sort of a few different reasons for harness swap


Definitely will be, just picked up a header for our 98 2.2 off road rig too just need to find time to make a thread for it
