Have a look at this video and see if you have one in the same location. The video doesn't mention the model.
I have never had to work under the bonnet of my past 2 x Subaru's, so I have no idea, just trying to help out.

on end of RHS fuel rail, under manifold (item 22670). Every EJ since the dawn of man has been the same.

Changed the damn thing, car starts so easily , but still get some hesitation under load ,mostly going up a hill

For the sake of anyone in the future who may look at this thread, what was the solution? I know you said the FPR helped, but didn't fix it entirely.
