So, im about to swap the cracked lense on my 06 baja with a freshly polished lense from my 02 gt parts car. I noticed the gt needles are a nice orange compared to the faded yellow of the baja needles.
Can the needles be swapped easily, or will this mess up the indexing/accuracy of the gauges?

Also, the backlight on my odometer is burned out. Which bulb is it so i can swap it out?

Baja needles are intentionally yellow against a slightly blue background, as opposed to the orange on black that the other cars got. Swapping just the needles is a tricky job to make sure that nothing gets damaged and everything is still aligned properly. You can swap the entire meter unit (each meter is a separate part behind the cover plate), and as long as the scales are the same (max speed and max RPM), then everything will line up fine.

Thanks for that! I appreciate it.

if you do this, I'd be interested in buying the Baja meters from you.

Fair enough sir! We'll see if i do it or not, but I'm leaning towards not dut to speedometer range difference

Wait, there's a difference? I thought they were both 120mph speedometers.

Pretty sure the Baja is a 140. I'll have to double check it when I get home. I looked at it last night and remember there being a difference in scale on the speedometer

Oh, right, right. You have a turbo. That is a 140mph gauge.
