why does stromung.com only list exhausts for the 2.5 or will they fit the 2.2 just the same?

Because Stromung doesn't expect people with 2.2liters to enjoy their car as much as the 2.5 guys :-D

Everything will bolt up with no issues. The chassis is the same through out the years and engine types.

2.5 has dual port heads and only some early 2.2s have the dual port. Behind the header is not a problem though as already stated.
