is this a safe wheel alternative? the offset is +45.... +48-55 is optimal... what do you guys think?

That offset will probably be fine with a 17x7, just don't plan on running something wider than a 215.

The fact that they bore out the hub is somewhat concerning, but I guess it's a small amount. I definitely wouldn't let them machine down the mating area, though. I'm never comfortable with modding wheels, especially factory alloys, that way.

i think i like it. and the fact that they show them on a GT makes me smile.

They should be fine w/ regards to offset. It's more important are you get wider and wider rims.

Tires included are ok for the most part I guess, not good, but sufficient for street driving.

i think they look so-so, i'm just not a fan of split 6 spokes. that's funny i never thought a scion wheel would fit a subie. i'll see if i can cram my 18's onto a Xb.
