You get to a certain point in these things and you start going - "well, no turning back now!"
Copied from NASIOC:

Ok i know alot of people are going to flame me for this, but I want to hear what some people think.
First a full sti conversion(engine, trany, ecu, wiring harness, diff, rear sub frame, dash, heating core, seats, everything over the legacy would just be a shell)(which i will being doing my self in my own garage)
Secound I was thinking of having a full custom wide body kit. 3 inchs wider in front and rear must be able to fit 10 inch wide tires all around.
Third I was considering having the whole car re painted to bmw steel grey.
Forth I was considering a full custom roll cage painted to match the color of the car.
Fifth I was considering having the hood, trunk, stock spolier, and possiably the roof of the car bing made in carbon fiber.
Sixth I was considering for my final project having the motor built, custom tunning. Bench mark is minumum of 600awhp. This is the time where i would also consider installing a supra rear diff and making the car rwd.
I know this is gonna be a hell of a proejct. i know why do it to an almost 10 yr old car. why a legacy; just get a new car. The reason is i think the legacy needs to get some respect and I want to do it. It is going to take more then 2 yrs to complete. She wouldnt be a street car any more, become a show car but insurance for it will be cheap.
Please pass along any of your views.
