These are the same ones im told for a guy the put them i his Impreza and they are WRX STI aluminum control arms, he said that he bought them and the worked on his 98 Impreza RS, I found this site that has them for $399 a pair im got to get some when i have them money

These are such excellent suspension pieces that i would recomend painting them (POR Silver?) with special rust resistant paint if you are planning on using them during the winter any place where they salt the roads.

Aluminum doesn't rust...no paint nessessary. But if you wish to do so, I'd do a powdercoat instead.

True alluminium doesn't rust. Corrosion is the problem. Electrically charged and baked "powder coating" looks great but in my experiance doesnt last. Nothing works perfectly as all underbody sections are subjected to sometimes severe scouring... I am not sure whats bests.
