Studs?

Hears the story in a nutshell:

I replaced my headgaskets, went smoothly except I broke one of the bolts on the camshaft retainers. I tried a screw extractor but it broke in the bolt. DOH!

I tried a bigger extractor but the drill bit skipped on the hard metal of the previous extractor and went down the side of the bolt - in the head.

So right now I've got a head with a broken bolt and a screwed up hole.

My plan is to drill the whole thing out, tap it and put in a stud.

Does that sound reasonable?

Also, does anyone know of a good place to by studs? I only need one...

Oh, I had the bit choked way up in the drill press to minimize skipping, but I guess it wasn't enough...

Well, my buddy pulled the bolt out with a fancy ground down screw driver. The threads look ok, so we should be back up and running within the week.
It'd be done today if I didn't have school.
