SPY PHOTO—"HOT" SUBARU TEST MULE

This week's spy photos of the Subaru Legacy were snapped by Brenda Priddy of Brenda Priddy & Co.
http://www.sema.org/Main/SemaOrgHome.aspx?ID=55923

According to Brenda Priddy & Co., “Frankly, I was quite surprised at the interest this Legacy has gathered from enthusiasts around the globe, especially since no one can or is willing to confirm what exactly Subaru is testing, but my phone has been ringing off the hook with inquires as to if I had these photos. And I may have caught this Legacy ‘a day late’ – but I think these are the best images around. The huge STI-type hood scoop is sparking speculation and rumors – everything from a high-performance version to a hybrid, or simply a facelift. Other rumors include a 3.6-liter H6 – with or without a turbo engine, or a 3.0-liter twin-turbo. But unfortunately the only thing that we can confirm is the existence of this test mule.â€

But anyway, a 3.6 H6 sounds like a lot.. I'd like to see that numbers that bad boy could produce.
A 1995 Legacy L with 3.6 liter H6 and 4EAT! t3h ult1mat3 sl33pAr!

I'm pretty sure that's just rumor
Subaru doesn't have the resources to invent new engines every few years...

Sure they do. Toyota own a controlling share in FHI now.
Subaru have been developing LEV cars and turbodiesels, and don't forget they do make engines for airplanes.

C'mon, Anthony did have a good reason to be pissed. He applied twice without any sort of response, and then got stiffed when he talked to the editor.

No and that’s a terrible analogy. What do advertising solicitations have to do with a customer looking for a response from a company for which they do business?

Don’t forget that this is a service rendered for payment, not some free publication. I pay my hard earned money to MediaSpigot Publishing and the editors of Subiesport magazine; is it too much to ask for the courtesy and professionalism of a response when a paying customer reaches out for correspondence? I don’t think so…

Damn straight! I said the same thing to the GM of my local gym last night. When I joined a year ago I suggested some improvements. 10mths later, no improvements, and no reply to my suggestion letter.
Told the GM I wouldn't be resigning my membership if nothing happened within the next 2 mths.
