like the title says   :!:
i wired them to come on with the turns, not the parking lights and then alternate with the turn signals as sybir has done. i think they turned out really well, good thing i had paint left from when i painted the skirts and lip

Yes sir! I just bought some from that guy to...
EDIT: BTW, when you say alternate with the turn signals... do you mean when teh turn signals are blinking they blink whenever the turn signal doesn't blink... does that make sense... so turn signals/sidemarkers/turn signals/ sidemarkers/etc/etc

I think side markers are amazing. People don't realize the safety and how many accidents they prevent!
Think about it.. three lanes, two cars (one in the far left, one in the far right) the middle lane is empty.. one car has side markers.. he signals to enter the middle lane.. both cars are side by side, other car sees flashing side marker, immediately he knows he's signaling.. beautiful i tell ya, beautiful!
I love accident prevention features

If you want to wire them up in true JDM fashion, they MUST flick on when the indicators are used. In all other situations, they stay off.
On JDM, NZ & Aus cars they are used PURELY for signal indication purposes, not sidelighting or anything else.

i really gotta get those from shane...
i'd like to have them work as running lights and flash with the corners...
i think that would have to involve some sort of relay huh?

sybir said if you tap the 2 wires that arent ground, (parking lights, turn signals) then they will run with the running lights and go out when the turn signals light. i dont really understand why, but he said it works.
i did no such thing. i just used them as turn signals. and actually when wiring them you will realize the wire colors match. (black/white-with red stripe on the pass side) and (black/green on the driver side) on both sides there is also a red wire that is the running lights.
as for the link above, warrior. yes those are the lights. i bought mine from that same guy. shipping took about 7 business days and they came in great shape. i am very happy with them.

Anyone have pictures of what these might look like on a silver car? Think the white ones would look nicer? I dunno, those look pretty cool, and seems like a cheap mod you could do. How hard was it to install? Is there a DIY anywhere? Looks good tho man!

Question, I have a 99' BK, would the wiring for the lights be back there, or do I have to run a wire up to the turn signal? It would be really cool if it were close to plug and play.

^not plug n play, (at least USDM)
but super easy.

I kinda figured that it would not even be close to plug n play. How do you wire them up then?

Non-USDM BE's have a little light on the fender, similar to a GC8. Not sure about what years, as some don't I believe. Either some didn't come with them or they were shaved. Not just Rev.D's, earlier ones had some too.

I just bought a set from the same guy that you guys bought from. Can't wait for them to get to Michigan from New Zealand. How are they wired up? It said that there was a fitment guide, but I would like to be ahead of the game! Also, did you have to have them painted to match your car (it would cost like 20 bucks to get them painted)? Thanks.

Just got mine in the mail today. Diagram is a little confusing. would be nice to see a DIY on this from someone that has done it. Also i think the japanese could have put the writing on the inside of the lens smaller and more towards the side. is it that noticable once they are on?
is there a wiring diagram for these online?
I have the lights already, sitting in a box in my garage.
Low priority, but I'll install them eventually.

For the guys that have already done this, did you have to cut a hole in the fender to fit them? :?: The lights came with a fitment guide for cutting a hole in the fender! I would look on my car only it is about 1* F right now. :-?

No, you just pop the stock plastic piece out and put the sidemarker in.
No cutting.

On the BD/BG's the hole is there and they pop right in. I don't know about the later models.
