Ok, so I need a new exhaust by next weekend (Oct. 7th). Reason... I organized a meet and want exhaust, haha... well and I just want to take care of it anwayz, but I need help. I need something that looks semi stock and not "ricey". I've been looking at the following:

STi axleback
Fujitsubo axleback
Prodrive Oval Tip axleback

Any other ones? I just need the axleback, but need everyone's opinion.

Borla hush is nice. Personally I don't notice a huge difference with the STi exhaust

sti axleback - or even 05 wrx - they are the same thing anyway.

The SPT one is pretty nice too.

Ya, the STi one is kinda a last resort kinda thing.

Did you hear both a stock and then later a STi muffler though? I've got one and I'm thinking about putting it on soon.

Just to let you know, installing a WRX/STi can may not be *that* easy. It just cost me $100 today to get the WRX exhaust mounted. They had to change all but one hanger, they had to lengthen the tips and extend the midpipe.

In the end, the exhaust note behind the car is so awesome, but from inside it sounds stock.

i can score a used 04 STi exhaust... will it improve my perfromance at all and will it bolt up or do i need some modifications

oh, I thought you had a hookup for The Korean, and I figured he wouldn't want one if he was getting a prodrive...not trying to butt in.

Yes, it's less baffled than stock, no it won't bolt up, as was already stated in this thread.
