View Full Version : How do i turn off emergeny flashers w/o remote

ive lost the keyless entry remote for my 96 legacy outback...and i was putting my amp in so i had to disconnet the battery and now the emregency flashers wont turn off.......i know that there is a button under the dash that will reset it but im not really sure where its specifically at or what the procedure is
please help ASAP thanks

try disconnecting your battery again...

Check and make sure your triangle isn't engaged. if worse comes to worse, try diconnecting the switch.

Are they actually flashing, or are we talking about parking lights?

I got this one - you need to disconnect your central locking module until you can get a replacement remote, and reprogram it.

I got a replacement remote from Keyless Ride on ebay - it's smaller than stock and works pretty well.

When the flashing happens to me - I have to lock and unlock the car using the remote.
