Anyone have experience? Do they ride well? Are they worth the major $$$?

Which teins do you mean?

I had a set of WRX Flex coilovers on my BD. They handled great but were super stiff (559f/448r spring rates).

Unfortunately the roads around here are terrible, so I sold them because they were too stiff and didn't have enough travel.

Here are a few pics with them installed:

This is about the maximum height you could run them at in the front. Before I sold them I was considering making a spacer for the front tophat to allow a better adjustment range and correct the camber adjustment issue you'll have running WRX front camber plates (the angle is wrong).

Was that the maximum height in the rear? My problem is I'm running 18's w/ 225/40's.

I'm not looking to slam the car, nor expecting the rear to go down much further, but a nice stiff ride would be great, It's going to be my joyride car so harshness won't be a problem.

I also plan on doing my custom stereo, so it needs to handle some weight in the back, that's why I want coilovers that I can adjust the stiffness and get the height right where I want it.

Unless some has some ideas, I'm definatly open to them!

I have Teins Flexs in my GC, and they are pretty stiff. Check the Coils D2 makes for the BD, the rates arent quite as bad and they have the right camber plates.

In the rear they still had some adjustment, the car was set up so that the rear sat about 3/8" higher relative to the front than the stock stance (which IMHO was perfect).

You can calculate how much the rear will sag with whatever load you want to put in by dividing the load by the rear spring rate * 2.

eg: the flex is a 448lb/in spring in the rear, so if you put 200lbs in the rear of the car it would sag:
200 / (448*2) = 0.223 = approx 1/4"

As far as I am aware, the D2 coilovers mentioned do not come in a fitment specifically for the BD/BG, but only for the BC/BF (http://www.d2racing.com/html/coiloapps.html).

I'm considering getting a set of KSport (http://www.ksportusa.com/) coilovers next summer, they do have specific apps for the BD/BG and are apparently made by the same asian manufacturer as the D2 coilovers.

Plus, they make a full inverted damper setup  and the 392/280 spring rates should be much more comfortable on the street.
