After 16 hours of driving to pick this car up, I am glad to say it is an awesome vehicle! I love this car, and these pics came out pretty good. I still think they dont do it any justice, but enjoy!

^ Thanks man! I really like the stock gold webs too! I think its cool how the 99 GT Limited 30 Anniversary came with them, i think they compliment the car nicely.

I think next year i might look into getting some different rims / tires just for fun, but im not sure which ones would look good with the car. The only ones i like the looks of so far are the "Rota SDR" rims in hyper silver. What colors do you think would go good with the car?

16hours to pick it up? How far did you drive, and how many miles does this 99 have?

It has 130k on it currently, but still runs GREAT! I drove 16 hours back from chicago to here... around 950 miles or so. Took me a little longer then i would have liked, because i hit VERY heavy rain all the way back here. At some points when i was in NY, some of the roads looked like rivers.. but i just got new tires for the car before i picked it up, and they did awesome! Sumitomo HTR+ .. very good tires!

Yea, no auto for me. Auto's make me :| LOL. I looked for about 3 months for this car, because i was looking for the silver / leather interior in 99 Limited! Finally found one, and had to drive half way across the country to pick it up! Very glad i got it though!! :cool:

I was looking specifically for a 1999 Limited GT, Anniversary version.. in SILVER! LOL.. So I'm VERY lucky I found this car. Seems like they are near impossible to find, but one day I just ran into this one, and it was exactly what I was looking for. I had one before, but it was getting too beat up, so I sold it, and then the search was on!

Does anyone know where to get a 30’Th anniversary sticker? My last car had one on the left front fender, but this one does not.. and I sort of liked the look of it. I doubt you can get them anymore.. But I wish this car had one on it!!

Hella Optilux XP bulbs. They're a very nice color white and have good output.

I actually previously owned a 30th anniversary model of this same exact car before i bought this one.. but i sold it, and i was wondering if there is really any difference? Weird thing is.. on the current one i have, there was no 30th anniversary badge, but on the title it says that it is a '30th anniversary edition'. I wonder if the owner before me took the sticker off, or if it just fell off over time.. but i would really like to get another one, just dont know where i can find one! When is that meet by the way.. maybe i'll try to make it down!

huffer: i feel you on there.. actually dont like that the wheels dont contrast the color of the car that much.. thats kinda why i was going to paint them gold to begin with.. but now that they are painted silver.. not sure if i wanna sand them down and start ALL OVER again. *sigh* .

You wouldn't have to strip the entire coat... just said them up a bit and hit them with a quick coat of a DARK silver and then clear coat that.

Wouldn't take an afternoon.

Just let some air out of the tires to put the index cards in, you wouldn't even need a rebalance once the tires are reinflated - you have those adhesive weights.

I couldnt find dark silver anywhere.. if you can find me a DIRECT link to where they might sell it.. i might consider it. But all of the stores around here just had dark gunmetal. I think if i paint them any color.. its going to be gold.. because gold / silver always seem to look good together. I like how they look right now.. but your right.. its a bit TOO clean looking. LOL.

Do you have a Sherwin Williams or a DuPont place anywhere around? Tell them you need 2 spray cans made up for painting alloy wheels.

I bought my paint from Walmart...you can't be that hard up for places!!

The style of rim is chunky... it's tough looking. And it's big. The spokes go all the way to the lip... I just can't see it in my head, even with the photoshops you did it didn't look right.

Was the bumper already painted to match (quick silver)? also, if you do sell be sure to save me the wheels, grille, bumper, and projectors, and that way your car can live on through mine (since they are related you know- being 2 of ~1500 99gtlimited's with 5MT from '99)

the bumper was not painted.. i received it from japan used.. and it was painted white.. so then i had to pay to have it painted. It actually needs to get RE-painted now.. because the guy i had paint it for cheap.. put too much hardener in the mix and the bottom of the bumper is cracking a bit from flexing.. so.. that will come probably after winter.. but it still looks great! =]
