I met up with some weird guys today to sell my tires. Total ganster-wanabees. Anyways, dude was like:" What you got under the hood?"

To which I replied, "Tweeked intake and a pulley."
"Sweet. What you think it run?"
"16-18 down here maybe?"
"What you want for it?"
" I paid 6,600 in CO and for all the stuff on it, high 7's"
" I'll give you 7,500 and you can keep your rims"

I told him to let me think on it. I really doubt I'll sell anything to this guy, but what would you have done if the offer stood for $7,500 and you could keep $1,200 worth of performance parts or wheels?

He prolly needs somewhere to launder his drug money. If you do sell it, make him get a cashiers check from a certified bank, that way you are not accepting bunk bills and or drug money directly. I would think about selling it.. you might be able to find another good deal for as much $ as your getting. If you sold the STI rims, you might even be able to pick up a stock 02 wrx.
