How do I determine what gear ratio I have?
My trans is making some noise, and at 230,000 miles, 30,000 of which were owned by me, and abused....
I'm gonna need to find a replacement transmission.
95 BK 5spd
anything on the vin tag in the engine bay?

You have a 3.9 Final Drive, but that's all I know.

3.9 is about 3000 Rpms @ 70mph.

It may say on a label somewhere on the tranny (I remember reading that it does) but I don't know exactly where. Just don't get a WRX tranny, because it's FD may be the same, but the rear differential makes it that way, the tranny itself isn't 3.9. As well as the hydraulic clutch issue.
