New to the Scooby scene. Came from a 95 GTi VR6 that wasn't exactly the best running car in the world. So, I manned up and got an 03 Legacy SE.

Looks tidy! I would tint the windows immediately though.
I wouldn't do any mods that void a warranty - unless they're ok with some nice bronze 17" rollers.

Yeah, just stick with stuff that won't void the warranty, like cosmetics, wheels, etc.

Although if you had a suspension problem, they could try to pin it on the wheels, as ridiculous as it sounds

Welcome to the site!

Thanks for the welcome. The windows are actually tinted already, bought like that. I really want an aftermarket grille and possibly some HIDs. Can someone explain the difference between the GT and L headlights? And would it make any difference to put GT headlights on?

The GT headlights are "split", they have a different bulb for high and low beams. There is a black plastic trim in the head light assembly to make this more appearent.

[EDIT]
As far as HID's go, I would not recomend doing that on a stock headlamp housing. You will most likely get poorer light output as well as potentially blind on-coming traffic since the assembly is not designed for HID. It will be throwing light in places its not supposed to be. For a more accurate description go to www.danielsternlighting.com (http://www.danielsternlighting.com) and go to the HID retrofit section.

I would recommend going with lights that were designed for HID. Unfortunately these are going to be extremely hard to find since the only countries that offered HID in a left hand drive assembly are Germany and Austria. There is always the option of retrofitting your current lights with HID projectors (this is the best option IMO).

Thank you SO much for posting this pic, I was searching for a BE with 05 GT wheels and tihs is the first I've seen. Also, thanks for the info about the HIDs, I think I'll start to read up on retrofitting my OEM ones, or the GT ones if I snatch a set
