I have been looking for headers and was wondering of the OBX headers made for the 'preza RS are any good and if they would fit my BE. Here is an Ebay link to a set..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OBX-Raci ... enameZWDVW (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OBX-Racing-Header-98-05-Subaru-Impreza-2-5RS-2-5L-RS_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33631QQihZ007QQitemZ170038446876QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW)

Is the small section a high flow cat? and I noticed in the description that is says "factory O2 sensor location", does the RS only have one O2 sensor??

TIA,

Should fit no problems. RS have 2 O2 sensors. 1 precat, 1 post cat.

That is not a catalytic converter. However, you can take that section off and run a universal high flow or something of the like.

And no, you can't just bolt it up unless you go catless. However, people did like the results on the dyno from these headers. If it's for an RS, then it'll work o2 sensor-wise on your BE as well.

Any ideas on quality? Would you run this setup instead of the Borla's and Stromung high flow. By this setup I am refering to the OBX headers and putting a high flow in that short pipe that comes off the headers.

Thanks,

From what I've read on Nasioc, the Impreza guys like it for N/A performance over the Borla by a lot.

I probably would run it instead of borlas, yes.

The OBX/Cobb-copy has had good reviews amongst RS owners. Local guy has one near me.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, this is the Cobb header knockoff, good call Huffer.

Most headers require fixing welds that break. Even the much more expensive "genuine" cobb/borla ones. These are cheaper and sometimes require a fix, and if I remember right a few complained they had to spread them out a little to get the bolts to fit. Other than that, reviews are pretty good for those pipes.
