IHI VF40 turbo?

I just found an ej22t engine with 82K on it to replace the one in my car right now (spun a rod bearing:-( ). It's complete, but I want to upgrade the turbo.

I found a Legacy GT IHI VF40 turbo with 13K on it, but I'm not sure if it can boost higher PSI than the turbo that's already on there.

Is an IHI VF40 better than a stock BC Legacy turbo?

Not enough to justify getting it, unless it's really cheap or free.

But it is better than the VF11.

I didn't think there would be a big difference..the housing doesn't look that much bigger. And it's not free and not cheap, so I guess that settles it.
