I have been in London since September 1st and I saw the first subaru legacy since i have been here. Where are all the subarus? I thought they were big in the UK

I was there for 2 weeks in April and only saw 5 subarus total. 2 GC8 STis, 2 GD STis, and an STi wagon. No legacys :-?

They're not in London - they're usually on the outskirts.

My in-laws live in London. We have visited 4 times this year, and I think I saw 1 Impreza out of 4 visits. You have to move further north to see Scoobies in any great number. Round where I live Imprezas are like haemorrhoids. (every time you look behind you there's at least one up your @ss)
The population of my home town is less than 100,000 souls, yet I regularly pass 3 Leggies on my way to work.

I think its a trend all around Europe. When I was in Germany you never saw a Subaru in the city, you only saw BMWs, Mercs, and city cars.. but once you got to the outskirts you saw a few Subaru's and other cars you wouldnt expect.

while in Holland, I saw only two subarus,
but in Iceland, EVERYWHERE!!!

yea i was all around Scotland all weekend and i saw a ton of second gen subie wagons, especially in the highlands. By the way Tazmaniandevil you live in an awsome country, i never met so many interesting people in my life and the highlands are the most beutifal place i have ever been in my life

Cheers fella. I am among a minority who really appreciate where we live. The scenery is awesome, and there are things to do everywhere. If you are an outdoor type - it is heaven.
I live in Stirling which is just about the middle of the country. A half hour drive from Glasgow or Edinburgh - and just about three hours to Inverness or Fort William. When I worked as a field service engineer, I could do Thurso (on the north coast) in about 5 hours.
The whole country has a 'small village mentality' so when you meet people, they instantly become your friend.

Around here in NH, about 1/10th of the cars you pass are scoobies.

:grin: Well I was including golf carts and broken Civics... Assuming we aren't including those, that changes everything
