coolant in throtle body????

is there coolant lines used to heat the throttle body??if so does coolant pass through the IAC??im having problems with what i believe to be the IAC.while checking vacuum lines i pulled the line on the left side of the IAC to find coolant in the line.which doesnt seem normal to me.the other line on the right side of the IAC was dry and the air by pass tube was dry as well.if this is not normal what could be causing this ????

There is a line that passes directly below where the intake hooks up to the throttle body. Its there to prevent your air fuel mixture from freezing in winter. As for what is causing the coolant in that line, I don't know, and don't want to speculate incorrectly.

Nor do I, but did you take the throttle body off to discover this coolant? Because if you did, some might've just leaked in there in the process of removing it.

so there isnt supposed to be coolant in the small line directly below where the throttle body connects to the intake ??????

no i did not remove the throttle body.i was attempting to clean the IAC and vacuum lines from debris or clogs when i dicovered the line with coolant in it.which at this point i figured id try to get online and see what i could find out about this.my next step i guess is to pull the IAC try to clean it , replace the gasket and reinstall , and see what happens.if nothing then replace the IAC.

any better ideas ????
