I just bought a 1995 Legacy Wagon for a daily drive and I am trying to learn more and more about the car just incase any problem a rise.

1995 legacy L wagon>> no pics yet but the body is kind of rough
180,000 miles
So far I have replaced
-short throw shifter+new bushings
-new Brakes all the way around
-new oil pan w/ seals
-alpine deck w/bazooka tube(had it laying around)

Now for my main focus- 1992 V-8 (350) S-10 with a th-400 transmission

I spent about 4 months building this truck after about 2 weeks with the stock th700r4 it blew up so I swaped it out for a th-400 from a 3/4 ton chevy. Phantom grill, body kit, stero, 350, th400, true dual exhaust, custom built driveshaft, hedman longtube headers, and a bunch more.

Welcome to the forums!

What did you build the truck for? Any particular kind of racing or performance objective??

A friend of mine swapped an LS1 into his late model s10 many years ago, he did a really nice job with it including some vette bits in the rest of the build. Sadly he realized that it didn't really make his truck fast (even after adding nitrous) and is currently adding twin turbo's to it. He built his as a street truck but he takes it to the strip too.

I built it mainly for a street truck and to take it to the strip once and a while, I also want to be able to take corners so I am going to swap sway bars from a ZQ8 suspension to conquer body roll

I plan on cleaning it up a little(engine bay, maybe take off the body kit) go for a cleaner look. cowl hood 2 1/4, paint the phantom grill and hood. redo the inside a little bit too.

shave the tailgate and get a new bed due to rust  when I get the new bed I might put the license plate in the gate and do a smooth roll pan.

I'm posting the website Doug made for his s10, it also has pictures of a late model RX7 he helped put an LS-1 in. He likes the LS motors.

What short throw shifter did you put in your car? I thought they were really hard to find for the older style transmission like ours.
