Okay, so my back passenger window switch seems to have some weird problem. It will roll the window down.. but not back up. I only recently noticed this.. because I had a passenger in the back of my car. Can someone point me in the right direction as to what i may want to check? Could it be the switch? I dont think the switch is broken.. because why would it roll down? Does the switch need to be re-wired? Any info would be greatly appreciated.. as its sort of annoying having to roll the passenger rear window up for them! LOL.

My suggestion would be to open it up and see if any wires are loose or if the glass is off track (de-railed) from where its supposed to be.

I Dont think the glass is derailed.. because it seems to go up and down fine from the front drivers controls.. its just the passenger control that seems to be not working. I'm going to check out the connections.. i've never looked at the ones in this car. To get to them, do i just pop the switch out? How many wire(s) should be running to the switch? Thanks!

take apart the button and clean the contacts. Check it before you reassemble the door panel.

It's definitely the switch.. so thats the good thing. I'm not really sure how to take it apart, but im going to attempt to do that tonight, and clean it with some rubbing alcohol. Does anyone know how these switches work / come apart? I'm sure i can get it apart.. and it should be a basic switch.. they just look complex =] haha.

So i took the switch apart.. and cleaned it out.. but i only got the switch taken apart to the actual switch part where you have the whole black switch, and can see a few of the metal connections on the back.. i couldnt get it apart any further than that without thinking i was going to break it. Didnt work though, but i noticed if you press in on the switch, or hold the switch up.. sometimes it works.. so it MUST be a connection issue.. i just dont know where its making the bad contact.. or how to fix it really. =/
edit: i temporarily fixed the switch. I basically just wiggled it up and down about 200 times really fast and then it just seemed to start working.. so hopefully it stays that way!
