Alright guys, here's the game...

Find me part number 45149
Find it at a REASONABLE price..
and it has to be somewhere in Canada.

haha, not easy. I've made a few phone calls, it's going from 170-220 + or - shipping.

Any input?

why Canada?

www.boxer4racing.com (http://www.boxer4racing.com) has them.

They can be had for cheaper on eBay.

Make sure you get the right one though.

Because the last time i ordered something from the US, I ended up having to wait 3 months for it to pass customs, AND THEN pay an import fee...

That'd be my reason why lol.

I've shipped things to canada...never had a problem through USPS.

Customs sounds like BS to me. I'd guess UPS or whoever was shipping it was covering their ass by blaming it on the government.

It's seriously not hard to get things to Canada, unless you go by UPS.

I'm on Gabby right now if you wanna share shipping experiences :D hahaaha

Nah, that was for my best friend's Mazda 6 Protege's (which i can kick it's ass in a race) mid-pipe. He doesnt have a credit card, so we ordered it with mine, and it ended up becoming this huge problem.

2nd time it sucked the big one was when my little brother ordered clothing and it got custom taxed like no other ... 300 bucks worth of clothing and 79 dollars custom taxes... :|

Oh well, other than that - everytime i ended up getting something from the states it worked out well... but those 2 have bittered me to the experience.

I have shipped to Canada many times with both USPS and UPS. Customs are hit or miss, sometimes everything goes without a problem, other times it takes a few weeks and there is a fee that is more than the stuff is worth.

I think you just got unlucky twice, but expect to pay custom fees, just it shouldn't take more than 2 days to get through.

I have a 96 Leg Wagon. I picked up a short shifter at Cosmo racing. It was just like the B&M but a lot cheaper. Unfortunately I had to send it back as it did not fit. Ive looked for another but on all the web sites Ive checked I can't find once that looks similar to mine. It looks like they have one for your year. They are out of Quebec.
