If you're daily driving, on rough roads, then go for the B4 wheels. Otherwise, Gram Lights because you love to pimp it.
Also - make sure your brake calipers are cleaned up too! ;)

I think the JDM ones look too bloated and ugly for your car. Maybe for a forrester or something theyd be aight. Just my opinion tho.. i dont like those rims.

i really like the gram lights too. They're just so clean looking.
however they are about 3x the price of some B4's (they also came on the GT-B's), but i'm not one to cheap out on what i want. I was hoping to find a Rota that I liked, but none really stood out to me.
as far as calipers, i'll have newer ones all around.
they are part of a full swap

dont like the rota SDR rims much? hmm, what other rims u checked out. the jdm ones are aight.. but i think they look to plain and bloated.. haha. i think the rims u got now lookk damn nice on ur car, maybe go with something like those but less 'spokes' or w/e. hmm.

i'm thinking of going down to a 17" rim, for lowering purposes. unless someone has had experience w/lowering a BD w/18's.

I ran 2 different sets of 18's on my car with absolutely no rubbing problems after some rolling in the rear. I'm running Tein Flex's, so yeah, they're stiff coilovers, but not too bad.

The P1's were sunk in so far due to the offset that you would probably be ok without any rolling at all, and I think that's about the same offset as the JDM's you're running now. I think it would look perfect dumped on those rims. You could put the money for new rims towards a decent set of coilovers instead (I picked up a used set of Flex's for 1k) and end up with a dialed car with a really clean OEM+ look.

Although Sybir's superleggeras looked sharp as hell on the wagon, your gold's are a sweet wheel - can you get them powdered to match your new paint for reasonable $?

You don't know then that those B4 wheels came standard on the real BD Legacy GT's, then? Real, as in JDM turbo-charged real.
Also, those wheels are actually one of the strongest Subaru ever commissioned, and they're surprisingly light for a 17" wheel made back in the mid-late 90s.

Now this is what i would like to find, these look beautiful! I can see the difference between these B4's and the GT-B's above (which i origianlly thought were the same, my bad), but i like these:

I did think about that, a lot actually, i wanted to powdercoat them black, but i really wanted to drop a wheel size. My drivers side wheel well has some bondo there so rolling isn't much of an option for me. darnit.
I think perhaps the Gram Lights, though the wheels you have look pretty good.

Hand down, Gram Lights... For the weight reduction alone.... plus they look decent...

That last wheel, isn't that the UK/JDM bug eye impreza wheel? I thought it was.

B4 wheels, AKA UK 17s, aka later model GT-B.

No, i knew that they came off another of our model cars.. i just think their ass ugly. Dont like them.. and could care less about jdm for rims. I just dont like the way they look and personally would rather buy some cheap rotas over those. I just think if your gonna spend the $.. get some actual nice looking rims, or some that are light.. that way you somewhat get something for your money.. not just some other 'stock' subaru wheels.
hahaha.

Rob - sucks to have had to get rid of those, I thought they were way nicer than most anything out there. Who's doing your paint job in the spring?
