Got my new Fujitsubo axleback today from jhot. Gonna get her on sometime over thanksgiving break assuming it all bolts up.

It's still a little dirty, gotta try and clean it up more. Armorall didnt really get the thick grime off, any suggestions?

greased lightning. That stuff takes off everything.

some nice metal polish will do the trick and helps keep grit from accumulating. Should sound wicked!

Simple Green degreaser, then hit it with some polish.

Yeah, it came from ebay, i saw it and i was like "why hasn't mark bought this yet?" lawlz.

The only one I saw on JHOT had a rusty spot on it that made me decide against it.

Undiluted simple green is insane. Why isn't it bolted up yet?!!!!! It's two bolts, c'mon, get busy!

Eaiser said than done, the bolts are all rusted. I'm gonna get some new ones first because the ones on there are probably gonna break.

even easier, just get a die grinder and cut those old bolts off :twisted:

Yeah I don't have access to any kind of tools like that, I'm gonna take it to my cousin's garage sometime this week though while he's home for thanksgiving and get 'er on. I'll be sure and follow up with a sound clip and some pics.

wow dats loud! Was that done in a garage, I noticed echoing on the voices too, which also amplify the sound. Has a really nice lopey idle to it.

heh, yeah it was done outside of my garage, may have echoed it a bit. not really that loud in person, just sounds a bit beefier.
