all right....

so i'm planning on buying a prodrive muffler here pretty soon. made for WRX, STi, so i understand I'll need a tad of custom work done for the hangers. check.

at the same time, i hope to buy a new magnaflow hiflow cat and mid pipe. after my last post, i've decided to go 2.25" piping.

LOL, i'm talking to myself (drinking too) and not really sure what i'm asking, except that Im' confused about what I need to buy to make this all fit and work together.

sorry, but could someone lay it down 1 last time. thanks......i'm a deusche

What's the piping size of that prodrive muffler? Usually upgraded mufflers for the turbo cars are wayyyy bigger piping than is necessary. I know The Korean has a prodrive on his car, and it sounds good from what I heard (before the engine died lol).

For a WRX/STi muffler, the flang will need rotating, and 3 hangers will need to be changed. If you can weld, or have a buddy that can, these should all be easy enough to do.

Okay. You're doing full header back exhaust. You will need:

Piping & a catalytic converter for the cat section.

A Midpipe, possibly with a resonator welded in (to even out the tone, reduce drone, etc)

And an axleback with a muffler (Prodrive as you stated).

If you plan on going hi-flow cat, you'll also want an o2 sensor spacer for the rear o2 sensor so it doesn't throw CELs. Can be had for 30 bucks.

Questions?

Don't forget gaskets and new nuts and bolts.

...new nuts and bolts.DEFINATELY remember these...you will break some if your exhaust hasn't been off recently. Had to take a hacksaw to mine when I put my headers on.
