Well, I took out the trim pieces that the last owner painted red and started to repaint them black. Since they didn't get a good prep before the red went on the black doesn't look real good either. I could have sworn I saw a woodgrain kit for a legacy sedan on Ebay last week, but now all I see is kits for the outback. Does anyone know wher I can get a dash trim kit for the 98 GT sedan? I basically need all the dash and the center console pieces. If it came out easy he painted it.

When you do your search on ebay check the "completed items" box then search again. If you find the person that had it for sale contact them and ask them if they have it (if it didn't sell) or if they can get more (if they appear to be a business). I do it all the time. The other people on their that have trim kits...are they business'? If so ask them if they can order your kit for you.
You could always go to the dealer...I know I know.
Hope this helps.

Well if you get the kit for a BD/BG OB the trim pieces are exactly the same as the GT's, only difference is all the center console stuff is woodgrain, in the GT the only woodgrain stuff is the drivers window control trim and the passenger window control trim. If you want you can grab a set of the OB ones, prep them properly (clean with an alcohol prep, let dry, apply some sort of plastic primer...I believe rustoleum sells some), then paint them either back to trim black or another less "ricey" color. I've been thinking of painting mine a silver or aluminumesque color to match my colorscheme, but against the black it may be too much, worse comes to worse keep it black.

The center pieces (radio and shifter/brake area) look allot different in the pics on all the kits I have found. They are all for the Outback and the radio area looks like 3 or 4 pieces instead of the one I have. Unless I stumble on one this looks like a salvage yard item.

Duplicolor Medium Charloal Metalic.... i think it looks really nice was thinking about doing the pieces all the way back to the glove box but i think it may be too much. might do the gauge bezel tho.
